Club team & tryouts
Torque Youth is the first club team from TX Torque: players train at the facility and are coached by our staff in real games. Our first tryouts were held Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Del Valle High School. Join the list to hear about the next ones first.
Tryouts 2026: what we lived
On Saturday, October 10 we held our first open tryouts for the Torque Youth club teams at Del Valle High School. It was free for every player, ages 13 and under, in three groups:

More than 120 players registered. Thank you to every family that came out.
Why Torque Youth
Most programs train kids in a cage and hope it shows up on game day. We don't. Our coaches are with your player at the facility and in the dugout during games.
- Coached on the field: development does not stop when practice ends.
- Baseball IQ: because we see every rep in practice and in games, we teach the reads and decisions that separate good players from great ones.
- Real feedback: built on what your player actually did, not what we guess.
- A real path: as players get older they move into the recruiting process, the same way Torque guides our high school athletes. Tryouts are the first step.
