Training
Strength & conditioning for baseball
Strength and conditioning at TX Torque is age-appropriate training that builds a durable, athletic body, plus rotational power and speed work that turns that strength into bat speed and velocity.

Why it matters for baseball
Strength is the first step of the Torque Method. It connects to everything else: what we build in the weight room shows up in the cage and on the mound, and TrackMan numbers show whether it is working.
- Strength: age-appropriate training for a durable, athletic body.
- Power: rotational power that transfers to bat speed and throwing velocity.
- Speed: speed work as part of every athlete's plan.
Training happens in the full weight and strength area at our new facility. Strength and conditioning is coached by Gabriel Aguilar, who pitched four years at UNM and ten years professionally.
